One of the clearest messages from our partner conversations was the need to refine and enhance our EHCP QA module

Invision360 was born from one partnership six years ago.
A local authority recognised the value of Phil’s vision: to bring consistency and standardisation to a sector under increasing scrutiny, pressure, and complexity with a mission to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
That founding partnership didn’t just shape our first product. It defined our ethos.
From the very beginning, collaboration with local authorities has underpinned everything we do. Our core ethos has always been to build with those working on the ground not to develop technology in isolation, to ensure our modules reflect the realities of practice.
Phil’s extensive background working across SEND services in England and Singapore was crucial in shaping the initial build of Invision360. However, six years later, our progress is now guided not by assumptions, but by ongoing insights from a diverse and expanding community. This community includes our specialist team members, who possess both personal and professional backgrounds in SEND and education, as well as professionals, families, and children and young people with SEND.
This is how we ensure our software continues to evolve by responding to real-world challenges and supporting meaningful improvement across the sector.
It is essential for our partners to have a clear and consistent voice in shaping our roadmap, ensuring that their insights directly influence our development decisions.
One of the clearest messages from our recent partner conversations was the need to refine and enhance our EHCP QA module, to ensure it continued to meet the needs of auditors, practitioners, and leaders alike.
We listened, and we acted, using feedback from professionals using the module day in, day out:
The response from partners has been overwhelmingly positive:
“The new tool is absolutely fantastic.”
“Training and support has been excellent.”
This feedback is reflected in both qualitative and quantitative measures. In our most recent EHCP partner focus group, local authorities agreed that the enhanced EHCP module truly reflects their feedback and involvement, awarding it an average score of 4 out of 5. This indicates that partners perceive the module as genuinely co-designed rather than merely consulted on.
The impact of this approach is also evident in our newest product, VITA, where 78% of partner feedback has been implemented. This evolution was directly shaped by our learning about how valuable early, ongoing, and open partnerships are in driving better outcomes and stronger solutions.
In-module guidance, legislation links and compliance scoring
Partners highlighted the value of having everything in one place:
‘Criteria Partially Met’ option
The introduction of a ‘Partially Met’ grading option has significantly improved consistency:
Improved audit workflow
Enhanced reporting and feedback links
Audit assignment functionality
Benchmarking data
Beyond individual features, partners consistently tell us how important it is to feel heard, informed, and supported:
Our partnership offerings continue to expand, with opportunities like partner focus groups, enhanced data insights, and new partner Lunch & Learns. These initiatives create additional spaces for learning, reflection, and connection within the community.
Six years later, we take pride in working in true partnership with local authorities, building alongside the sector rather than for it, and ensuring that collaboration is at the core of everything we do. We remain dedicated to developing our modules in response to the sector's emerging needs and feedback.
