Consistent, high-quality Educational Psychology advice: The new QEPA Is now live

Built by Educational Psychologists, for Educational Psychologists.

We're delighted to announce the launch of the newly rebuilt and enhanced Quality Educational Psychology Advice (QEPA) module.

Co-designed with a network of Principal Educational Psychologists from local authority services, QEPA provides a consistent, evidence-based approach to reviewing and improving the quality of statutory educational psychology advice.

Whether you're leading a large service, managing a blend of permanent, associate and trainee Educational Psychologists, or looking to strengthen quality assurance processes, QEPA has been developed around the realities of modern practice.

Importantly, while QEPA harnesses the power of AI, professional judgement remains firmly in the hands of Educational Psychologists. The platform is designed to support, enhance and amplify expert practice, not replace it.

What's new in QEPA?

The latest version introduces powerful new functionality designed specifically for Educational Psychology Services.

• New comprehensive audit criteria, aligned with best practice and shaped by the Educational Psychologist community.

• Overall, theme by theme grading and individual criteria-level reporting, so you can see exactly where to improve, at the greatest level of detail.

• Run an automatic AI audit to cross reference the 'manual' audit outcomes.

• Professional development summaries. One click creates an exportable summary for each Educational Psychologist.

• Automated moderation between professionals, to keep practice consistent across your team.

• An AI dashboard assistant that summarises strengths and areas for improvement over any time period, so you can act sooner.

• Benchmarking. Compare your educational psychology service audit outcomes against the average outcomes achieved by other services using QEPA.

• Experiential data. Capture child, young person and parent carer experiences of the Educational Psychology statutory assessment through age appropriate surveys.

What Educational Psycholgists are saying

"The new QEPA module is fantastic for any EP Service. It provides a standardised approach to auditing statutory EP advice for our mix of interim and permanent staff, providing insightful data to demonstrate quality and progress. In my busy role, the AI dashboard assistant is brilliant for supporting me in quickly pulling together comments and identifying where quality needs attention. I particularly like the automated moderation feature, ensuring EPs within the same service have a shared understanding of 'what good practice' looks like in a report and are auditing to a consistent standard.”
